The Living Closet once again plays up to its dual nature this April *tomorrow* on Good Friday / Friday the 13th by taking over the WISE Hall at 1882 Adanac Street for its SAINTS & SINNERS event!

On top of all its usual variety, fantabulous art hangings and installations (to say nothing of the masterful libatory-dispensation at the hall's famous bar) this event is proud to bring to you  the following performances:

* readings by Andrea Grant, editor of Copious magazine!
* a set by the Grandbois trio!
* readers from upRooted, the literary magazine of UBC's English Student Society
* a triumphant homecoming set from Genevieve Rainey, back from Prague! (this is a lie.)
* a performance from Delanye Azrael!
* C. R. Avery and the Big Gold Chain.  Beware!
* Music and projection from Stormwaver!
* vamp-rock from Mr. Underhill!
* a "Saints & Sinners"-themed dance performance!
* AND of course the customary open stage as soon as the doors open from 7 to 8 pm!  What more could you ask for? (What?  A pony?  Go ask your father.)

The event will be hosted by the gracious Cassandra Chowdhury and will be running until the gracious time of approximately midnight, at which time the sinners turn into pumpkins, the saints turn into squash and the ravenous gourd-devourers are released.  Entrance is by donation, as always, with a suggested donation of $5 to cover the expenses of putting the evening on.

Keep an eye open for other Living Closet events this summer including a joint event in August as part of the international Bikesummer festival (www.bikesummer.org) with MOMENTUM magazine, the magazine for self-propelled people.  We're looking forward to the possibility of outdoor shows as well as perhaps a Scrambled Angst reunion and some other projects bubbling merrily on the back burners.

The Living Closet is run and put on entirely by volunteer power! If you're interested in helping us, working with us or having your organization work in conjunction with us for a future event, launch or promotion, please contact us! As well, if you're interested in performing or exhibiting at a future event, our art wrangler "Champ" can be contacted at 253-1121 while your humble performance coordinator Rowan is on the other end at 253-5804.

If you're interested in performing at The Living Closet event, E-mail us with your name, contact info, and the type of art you practice.
