Spider
A box is sitting outside on the sidewalk.
It's a plain cardboard box filled with old magazines, buttons, etc.
I reach inside and pick up a tiny white box;
somewhat shiny and almost leathery.
I slide off the lid and see a curled up spider, it's legs bent twice under it's body,
which is hairy and black; about the size of a bean.
As soon as my mind registers what it is, the spider springs from the box
(presumably onto my body).
I quickly and franticly brush myself off with my hands,
but the spider has vanished.
Photos
I'm turning through a photo album that is on a computer disk.
A photo, or group of photos, comes up on the screen.
I click on a picture of my choosing, and it runs through 5 minutes of movement.
I can go forwards or backwards, further & further, as many times as I click.
I'm going through all my photos, getting lost in each one of them.
Eye
All I can see is an extremely vivid close up of an eye.
Then there is a face, but it's more like a canvas for the sake of it's eyes.
The eyes each have one big lash down the center,
branching out above and below,
with the middle part of the lash widening and becoming the pupil.
Bamboo growing crisscrossed.
A panda bear.
A television set.
Fireplace tools
There are fireplace tools everywhere around me.
I'm trying to choose between them.
It's important that I complete the right set.
One piece looks like a black iron shoe horn on the end of a poker like pole.
