Pit

There is a large hole or pit covered in leaves.
It seems to be in the middle of an abandoned jungle.
Inside, I know there are bamboo poles sticking out of the dirt walls.
The tips of the poles have been sharpened and dipped in poison,
and are angled upwards so as to stick anything that falls into the trap.
The poles are reminiscent of rainsticks [the hollowed out staffs with pegs along the sides
that are filled with shells so when you turn them over they strike the pegs & sound like rain].
The pit is indeterminately deep and waiting for someone/something in particular.

Stalagmites

I have coloured stalagmites/stalactites growing from the insides of my eyes.

Knapsack

I find an expensive leather knapsack in a store, but I choose not to buy it.
Later I go into a second hand store and find another, only this one is perfectly worn
and costs only $4.00.
I buy it and realize that it can hold many, many things inside it
without becoming overstuffed or too heavy.
Sometimes it turns into a carpet bag.

Running

I am running very quickly through a field
simply because it feels good to run.

Child Society

I'm in a park [I don't recognize it] and I'm about 10 years old.
There are a lot of different children around, many of them speaking in other languages,
but everyone understands each other.
There are a lot of forts in the park, made from a light, golden wood.
It seems this park is a mini child society.
There are no adults around and the park is framed with flowering cherry trees
almost like a fence to keep them out.
Petals float in the air.
When dark comes there is a sense of sadness and frustration
in the knowledge that we must rejoin the adult run world
and have no choice in this matter.
