Sea Vikings
Dan (my brother) and I are swimming in a big, dark ocean.
The sky is consistently grey, and there are gulls flying overhead.
We are eating sandwiches until 2 of the gulls swoop down and steal them.
There is a great island of vines in the distance, close to half a mile away.
It looks to be a huge tangle, and it makes me uneasy.
Dan starts swimming towards the island.
I try to warn him, but he can't hear me.
He gets further and further away.
-a "dream commercial' for apple yogurt cuts in. It looks nasty;
square mini apple cubes stuck to the side of the container, pasty white yogurt...yuck.-
Dan is nearly at the isle of vines when he starts shouting wildly "monster! monster!"
and thrashing about wildly.
He's getting sucked through the water towards the island,
which he now seems to be trying to move away from.
Then the water around him begins to roil and froth, waves rise up,
and it's hard for me to tell what's going on.
Amidst all this commotion, 6 massive sea Vikings rise out of the ocean,
scooping Dan up into a huge yellow rubber raft they then hoist upon their shoulders.
They move swiftly through the water, parting it into dark green waves as they pass,
bringing him back to where it is safe.
Dan knows that they are there to help him, and isn't afraid.
The tension is broken.
Snails
Christine (F) gives me a square box covered in dark blue fun fur.
Inside there are a number of pale snails with red sparkling eyes and cartoon like faces.
Chains
Stuart (O) is on stage in front of a packed crowd of people.
The band is playing very loudly and bright lights move across the crowd.
It's very hot, and steam rises upwards from all the body heat.
Someone shouts loudly "THAT'S not the way Cel played!" -meaning the drummer.
Stuart's singing a line from the song 'Chains', "I've got a stranglehold on your mind..."
I notice that his legs look too thin, which clued me into the fact that I was dreaming.
Movie
A movie is being filmed and I'm watching.
Christian Slater is playing a swashbuckling swordsman.
He's wearing black fingerless leather gloves and a black 3 musketeers outfit.
He's twirling a sword around in an impressive manner and doing all his own stunts,
which I find unusual and surprising, as I expected a double to do all the work.
Battle
A battle is going on between a cat and a dog.
Matters of great importance seem to rest upon who wins.
The fight is quite violent, and, although smaller, the cat appears to be winning.
There are other animals present, but they may not join in.
