Curtains
(similar to a very old dream which seemed ominous and scary,
but this one was enjoyable, quite the opposite of the first)
I'm in a huge warehouse that is sectioned off by large cream-coloured curtains
that have been gently torn around the edges.
The curtains billow back and forth,
making it hard for me to see what's going on in each section.
I become aware of a dark man in a hat watching me,
but I know he has no intent of harm.
I feel relaxed and free, but wake too soon to continue the dream.
Digestion
I am disembodied and move slowly through a digestive tract.
Gorby
My parents have separated and I'm having a hard time dealing with it.
It's nighttime, and my family is supposed to be on the stairs out front of V.S.T.
to join the rest of the staff to have a photo taken with "Gorby"
Security people are everywhere, and I'm upset by the absence of my father.
My mother tries to explain that he's left her for another woman,
and that his anger stems from his own guilt.
I can't bring myself to believe this and run off weeping in denial.
Bracelet
The dream seems to be set somewhere in Europe (France?).
I'm 1/2 myself and 1/2 not.
I'm walking down a cobblestone street during the onset of twilight.
Someone has robbed a house and left a bunch of jewelry pieces
hanging artistically upon a row of flowers in a long wooden windowbox.
I take a beautiful bracelet made of fine sterling silver with 4 large diamonds in it
and hide it in my pocket, aware that it might be a setup.
I hurry around the side of the house and down the back alley,
passing a woman named 'Rita' who's dressed in gypsy clothing and doesn't see me.
I get to and enter the house I'm staying in with a 'gang' of people,
including Lance Henrikson, Richard Moll, Leonard Nimoy, Paul and Co.
I hide the bracelet around the porcelain base of a lightbulb above the door.
The lightbulb faces upwards and has a small, stubby, white candle burning on top of it.
I blow out the candle and smell the waxy smoke as I jump down.
There's a loud knock on the door.
Knowing it's the cops, we all flee out the back door.
We're on the run and can hear the police trashing our place looking for the bracelet
as we're getting away.
We find another house, and once inside,
Paul hands me the bracelet which he'd retrieved from around the lightbulb,
even though I hadn't told anyone I'd hidden it there.
The new place seems to have a sense of people waiting to turn on each other.
I walk around the house searching for another spot to hide the bracelet.
I go down to the basement and find a spot up in the rafters,
near a bunch of lightweight metal hoops
that appear to be a cross between sewing rings and hoop skirts.
I see various supplies on a workbench and get a flash of an abandoned project.
I find two pairs of scissors that have been missing, and a huge roll of tinfoil.
The idea was to make a new hoop skirt, but with tinfoil instead of cloth.
The tinfoil could be pressed between two rings to leave an indentation,
then torn rather than cut.
The tinfoil circles on the table change into huge US pennies.
I begin to crumple them up, thinking they'd give us away,
but unfold them after realizing their importance.
I decide to re-hide the bracelet after I overhear Lance grumbling
and realize that he wants to steal it from me.
I find a water purification tank up near the ceiling above the livingroom bidet (?!)
(ego becomes confused here...I'm 1/2 me and 1/2 watching)
The tank is rectangular and had 2 rubber tubes/hoses attached.
(One for in coming hot water to be filtered, the other for outgoing, cold, clean
water.)
I hide the bracelet inside the tank's filter, pleased that I've found such a safe place.
As I jump down from the bidet I'm standing on,
(suddenly away that part of me is Co and that I'm wearing a crisp white nurse's uniform)
I accidentally knock the outgoing waterhose from the top of the tank.
Water begins to spray all over the place and I'm frantic to fix it,
which I do before much damage is done.
When I turn around, I see Leonard lying on his back upon the floor,
wearing a long, white robe and seemingly dead.
I remember that he'll come back to life "just like he always does",
so I put a pillow under his neck and leave the room.
The police show up with a nasty detective who explains some insurance policy
"that will prevent the resale of purloined property",
insinuating that he has a special clause written into his contract
that let's him get away with "accidental killing".
He leaves after looking for the bracelet in vain.
I take the bracelet out of it's hiding place, and after admiring it,
put it into my pocket and leave the house, alone and content.
Nipples
I'm trying to explain to someone
who has pointed out that my nipples are showing through my shirt that I'm NOT cold,
and what he thinks are my nipples are the beads on my rings,
but he doesn't understand.
