Flying with Dan

Someone cuts my hair into bangs to be mean, but it actually looks quite flattering.
My parents, Dan, and I are walking around a large stone and marble school
that is holding an art show.
Dan and I decide we'd rather fly, so we jump off the top of some wide, shallow, stairs.
We fall downwards, then at the last minute hold our arms out at our sides
and swoop up into the air like swallows.
We race around the air looking at the different sculptures, paintings,
films projected onto walls, etc. below us.
I see a metal umbrella stand full of wooden staffs topped with carved clown heads.
I point at them and make a 'yuck!' face to Dan
who responds by raising one eyebrow and giving his cheesy "ho-ho-ho" laugh.
Outside, we dip down into hedges, knocking parts of them off with our bodies
to 'sculpt' them into different forms.
We're doing a lovely job, but it seems to irk the people who run the school.
We're 'invited' to leave.
Mom and Dad are somewhat embarrassed by our behavior.

Xena

I've become 'Xena', and for some reason I'm 20 feet tall.
I'm riding in (on, rather -I can only fit outside on the deck) a large ship far out on the ocean.
An evil prince with a pointy black beard and squinty eyes
has a box fitted with mirrors that reflect the past
so it appears to still be filled with the 'sacred treasure'
that he has already thrown overboard and intends to return for later.
A god and goddess in the forms of two black cats appear from a bright prismatic patch of air,
and copulate to create the new emperor child.
I see myself (still in the guise of a gigantic Xena) jump overboard to find the treasure.
While swimming around, I come across a talking conch shell
that repeats the word "mutilated" over and over again,
in a curse rather than a blessing, meant for the child.
(sea floor shells give information or spells and incantations)
I find the treasure and return it.
(the treasure is a gold deity statue encrusted with jewels and precious stones)
The evil prince is bisected, cubed, and fed to the cats, who then disappear.
It is known and accepted that the emperor child will grow to be brilliant and fair, wise and kind,
and scarred across his body.
