Aquarium

I'm at a large aquarium looking at many peculiar kinds of fish that I've never seen before.
One has a mohawk, another is clear and filled with glowing veins,
and a large tank in the corner is filled with tiny, waterbreathing mice.
The Ab Fab ladies wander past, both in an insanely drunken state;
fluttering about their companion, a gay priest.
The fish in the different tanks get creepier and creepier the further I go.
I turn into a side room where a woman and her young daughter are looking at a large curio case
made of glass and wood that is hanging on the wall.
Each of the hundreds of little compartments holds a small statue,
either Egyptian or Indian figurines.
one is a beautifully carved hand -a very important symbol
(the pinky and ringfinger touching the thumb, the other two fingers straight up).
I overhear the woman and child's conversation in pieces.
They're talking about spiders. ("big...quick...wolf...") and leave the room.
I suddenly remember that Chris (L) had phoned me from a portable carphone
and that I'm supposed to meet him somewhere.
On my way out of the aquarium I pass Marty and Gilligan,
who are sitting together on a tandem rowing machine.
Marty is laughing at Gilligan for being so sweaty.

Thrift sale

I'm at a garage/thrift sale at Ryerson.
I find a wooden tarot box full of very old cards,
an artbook with pictures of angels on every page,
and a red leather book with 'Thoth" stamped on the front
and four small candles attached to it's corners.
