Shiny things
I'm looking inside of a tall, skinny dresser.
I find a pair of sparkly gold tights and a silver dress.
I put these things on and leave the room
to find myself in a bigger room, full of children.
I climb out of the window and onto a shiny silver bicycle.
I ride through a nearby park and see a thin man in a leather trenchcoat
with two huge, muscular black dogs.
Score
Paul and I are walking to my parent's house
and find a huge yard full of interesting objects and furniture that a family is discarding
because they're moving, so we're free to take whatever we wish.
We take a number of glass sculptures, antiques, paintings, velvet chairs,
and a finely carved vanity with a small mirror and tiny drawers that is only two feet high.
In one of the drawers I find a book of photocopied comics stapled together
and a tasteless t-shirt that made no sense.
We made as many trips as we could without breaking our backs,
which left us with things piled high to the ceiling of our apartment.
(which is much larger than our actual apartment.)
